How Sites Appear
Failed or ignored Meteor Falls leave timed corruption danger sites. Ambient corruption can also appear before the first natural boss, so new towns learn the warning layer before surprise boss pressure.
- Danger sites include a radius, expiry timer, and cleanse requirements.
- The map panel shows which towns are under pressure.
- Natural bosses wait until a town deliberately summons one boss.
- Long-lived corruption should change where players route roads, markets, and new claims because route speed and safety should suffer until the site is cleared.
Cleanup
Stand inside the danger site with a Cleansing Charm, or with one Ward Pulse plus one Recovery Kit, then run /event cleanse.
- Warded Lantern and Alchemist stations are the cleanup supply chain.
- Cleansing a site is also part of the player quest and goals ladder.
- Keep extra supplies ready after a difficult Warden attempt.
Regional Planning
Danger sites should change player behavior. Roads, markets, and new claims are safer when towns clear pressure first instead of treating corruption as background noise.
- Check remaining site timers before scheduling a build night.
- Store cleanup kits near the town edge closest to common event routes.
- Ask nearby towns for help when corruption pressure threatens multiple claims.
Practical Checklist
- Bring Cleansing Charm, or Ward Pulse plus Recovery Kit, then run /event cleanse.
- Watch danger-site radius and timers on the live map.
- Clear nearby pressure before expanding roads, markets, or new claims.
Cleanup Supply Chain
The map API reports dangerSites, per-site remainingSeconds, and town corruptionPressure. That makes failed events visible to players before they build in a risky area.
