Role

Blacksmiths turn meteor metal into the server's first serious gear path. The Frontier Forge is also the first town project most groups should complete because it anchors Star Iron progression.

  • Camp Smith work supports reinforced tools and early forge maintenance.
  • Star Iron Smith unlocks the ingot and pickaxe path.
  • Wardenbreaker work supports the Star Iron Blade and Forge Bellows project.

Using The Forge

Craft the Frontier Forge kit, place it in a protected town or personal work area, then use Forge recipes for timed Star Iron outputs. Town-owned infrastructure matters because late projects expect shared materials.

  • Raw Star Iron comes from Meteor Fall crater rewards.
  • Star Iron Ingots feed town levels, tools, weapons, Arcane Ingots, and late civic projects.
  • Forge Bellows reduces friction around Star Iron crafting for the town.

Quartermaster Notes

The forge is most effective when one player does not quietly consume the entire metal chain. Keep a visible town plan for ingots, tools, Arcane Ingots, and civic requirements.

  • Mark the first Star Iron Pickaxe as a shared mining tool when possible.
  • Delay extra Star Iron Blades until the town has a stable Warden attempt group.
  • Pair Blacksmith sessions with Arcanawright and Mason outputs so ingots do not sit idle.

Practical Checklist

  • Place the Frontier Forge in a protected town or guarded work area.
  • Route Raw Star Iron into ingots before crafting extra personal tools.
  • Track Forge Bellows and Wardenbreaker unlocks before late civic pushes.
