Calling A Breach

Corruption Breach is an intentional containment run for towns that have ward supplies ready. It costs a Ward Anchor, Ward Pulse, and Corruption Tonic, then opens a timed rift anchor on the frontier.

  • Use /event breach or click Corruption Breach in /event.
  • Operators can start a free test with /event start corruption_breach.
  • The live map reports the active marker, stability percentage, wave count, and remaining time.

Stabilizing The Rift

Cleansers stand near the anchor with Cleansing Charms, Ward Pulses, or Corruption Tonics while defenders intercept Rift Gnawers and Breach Acolytes. Stability rises when supplied players hold the anchor and falls when breach mobs reach it.

  • Keep at least one supplied cleanser within the anchor ring.
  • Kill mobs before they crowd the anchor.
  • Use Alchemist and Warded Lantern outputs before starting the event.

Outcomes

A stabilized breach rewards Ward Pulses, Cleansing Charms, Astral Thread, and town score. Failure leaves a 24-hour corruption danger site that pressures nearby towns and must be cleansed.

  • Breach rewards feed ward, beacon, and cleanup supply chains.
  • Failure is deliberately map-visible so towns can plan cleanup nights.
  • Successful containment also advances the guide's corruption-cleanup goal.
